Did you notice the author noted it had no headliner? Is this the one Esteban see's once in a while?

"a rare 110.2-inch wheelbase was also made."
Really? That would be way more rare than any 60 series Patrol in the world. Name...."Stubble"...nickname...."Stubby"!

"deep-water fording intake snorkel,"
were these on all Patrols?

I was a bit surprised to hear a negative conotation comeing from the writter Mike Covello. He is either 26 years old and never seen a real classic truck or just a suv and luxury car blogger. Totally stupid analagies and jabs at the very reason of Patrol design....less is better. The last two paragraphs show he does not like or even know what he is looking at. I hope Bill Thomas is happy with this read. An example of how one should ask for editing rights prior to publish. "this quirky SUV" .....I'm thinking of some novel response...... :shhh: .... ..... :obscene-buttmoon:

I'm pretty sure this is the same one.

Yes Mike. I think Esteban mentioned it near him too.

I remember reading this old NPCA post, and now after re-reading the article I think that this might be the same guy: http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1241&p=5018&hilit=mine+museum#p5018 . The article mentions that he sold his last Patrol to Nissan for their museum. See what interesting stuff you can find in the archives!
