No... thank YOU...or at least one of your official reps, Leslie, who has already helped me past a passel of informational and image related problems relating to one of the stories I am working on about 60 Patrols.

Also, I don't know why the articles above showed up out of order (I indeed posted them in order). Maybe it take a moderator to fix that.

What I found most interesting on the tested Patrol were the sand tires. It was obviously a press rig but maybe it was fresh from some testing at Pismo we didn't see. I most wonder if the wheels and tires came from Datsun or were they installed by the tester.

BTW, I looked back in my collection for other Patrol tests but all of the other 4x4 magazines, Off Road, Petersons 4Wheel & Off Road, or Pickup Van & 4 Wheel Drive but they didn't start publishing until '69 and later... past the Patrol's days in the sun (here in the USA at least). I think the website has all the tests now from Four Wheeler. I don't see all the advertisements and I think there were a couple of Datsun product announcements which included the Patrol that aren't posted.

I did find a brochure from Koenig on the NPC-100 King winch kit for the Patrol, which I forwarded to Leslie. I could post it here or maybe she might prefer to do so.

I fixed the order of the article pages. The attachment system places them in reverse order that you uploaded them unless you specify 'Place Inline'. No worries.

I have the Koenig winch doc, thank you for that. I will post it in the Technical Information category. I have a few other docs I need to put up there as well, and some more scanning to to. Rome wasn't built in a day. ;) :D

Got it! I'll try to remember.
