1973 Parts Catalog

Printed December 1973. Image quality is very good and all the pdf's are text searchable.

The only shortcoming of this is that the footer which includes the section number was cut off from the beginning to about section 12. However, there are (off the top of my head) 130 sections and the only thing missing at all in 1-12 are the section numbers, nothing else important, so it's not such a big deal.
oh yeah, and the cover page is missing because it was too shredded to scan.

Covers a wide range of patrol models... all the illustrations show Patrols with right hand drive, but the part numbers and info are broken down to include left hand models as well. It even addresses Patrols for the India market.

After professional scanning and printing and binding a hard copy, I paid almost 300$ for this :ouch: but it's worth every penny.

It seems to me, the way this catalog details part #'s for every model (almost) that its kindof a master catalog... what do you think?

I would need to download all 3 files and really spend some time studying it. Off hand I would guess that it was a release for a country that had all of those models available; that's usually how they were published.

This is by far, the best Parts Manual that I ever seen. A one of a kind. The size of the images is incredible. Later manuals (I have a paper copy of a 1976) have similar pictures, but they're half the page.

Tonight, I decided to assemble into one the 3 files. At the same time, I decided to add bookmarks to each section, using Adobe Acrobat. Because of this, I've been going through each page. I'm still at it, but couldn't wait to praise for this manual.

Entire sections that are devoted for options, I have never seen. Never, never. This is pure p o r n.

To give you some mouth watering ideas,

Oil Cooler for Fire Patrol,
Governor,
every alternator for every market,
Front Axle for 2-wheel drive,...

I'm stoked.

I must concur with Esteban, the manual is exceptionally nice.
It appears to be for the Australian market, rather than a master catalogue. Australia offered all of the models that are covered, and it was obviously published for a RHD market. Several cases refer to Australian vehicle applications. Again, very nice. The scan quality is great and the pictures are very detailed.

Good stuff. I noticed in 3rd file a Tokyu WF4 front winch??? Anybody got 1 of these? Also a "kit" hardtop, Great drawing of soft top frame etc and on and on...Makes me wonder which piece will be Bosque's next fab.

Just downloaded the 3 files and combined into one. A great manual with an index and searchable.

I have a 1967 parts manual in paper form. Every time I look for something it takes a long time as there isn't an index.

It looks like the downloaded files are from an Australian Manual. Mine has full page diagrams the same as this.
