Thanks again for the recommendation. The tires fit and run perfectly and have all of the traction that I need in the mountains of New Mexico.

I need one 15" split ring wheel if anyone has upgraded and has one to sell. I have a set of 4 cleaned up on the vehicle, but I need one to match for the spare.

EXCELLENT ARTICLE - I need 5 rims on my 1980 Nissan Patrol and don't know if I should get 15" or 16" rims. I found military tires but the rims are difficult to find. Now I have a starting point.

Wouldn’t fj40 wheels fit based on the specs?

They will. Some members here have used. For many years I had a spare tire mounted on one.

These may be a good option then.

FJ company also makes a nice modern version but they are big money.

I am running FJ40/55 rims dated 1978 on my Patrol as I did not wish to mess with tubes and split rims. I had to make my own hubcaps as I do not like the Toyota hubcap. I cut up a new set of Toyota caps and welded some 1970's Pontiac caps to the bases. I posted some details about the size differences between the 15" Patrol split rim and the 15" Land Cruiser rim.
