I Still got one of those Straps, it still ok so trying to keep it safe, When I got the 78 there was another strap under the seat any idea what it is for or if its even original

The second picture is the center windshield frame cover from a 69 and later window frame. It is the center windshield cover that is the access to the actuator arms for the windhield wipers with the rear view mirror bracket still attached....

Michael,

That part was never fitted on any USA Patrol.
Owner of the same Patrol since 1967
