Here is the original post. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5637

The run L60Boerne is talking about is truly an epic Colorado trip. And it is just one of many in the immediate area. If you are not into hotels, this place is in the midst of some of the biggest public land in the lower 48 so camping out is totally doable within a short distance. The timing is perfect for enjoying fall in Colorado. If anyone needs any info. on disbursed camping, fishing holes, or whatever, let me know.

Wish we could make it, but we are coming to Durango in the spring this year. I CAN attest to the beauty of the area. We have been over Hurricane Pass, California Pass, Mineral Creek road (if you can call it a road), Black Bear Pass, Imogene Pass, and Ophir Pass. Engineer and Poughkeepsie Gulch are still on my list of CO trails to run. I understand some idiots ran around avalanche blocked trails on PoughKeepsie Gulch last year and damaged the tundra. I heard it may not even open this year because of the seriousness of the damage and length of time required for it to recover.

Stay the trail!!!
Y'all have fun!!!
