Leather option

A few months ago I came into possession of a couple of Dealership Parts Catalogues. Both from the 60's. I have a few parts manuals produced for the public but these THICK binders have so many more goodies

I hadnt even taken them out to look at yet but was a little bored at work so thought I'd have a flick. I noticed in the back of the one dated June '67 there is a chapter dedicated to options. One of these pages shows a leather option with the sample still attached!! I don’t know about you guys but I find that really cool.

Now before you start to think Nissan was getting fancy with leather it appears the sample is actually leather look vinyl Its kind of a greenish silver.

Anyway thought I'd share it... sorrt this was the best I could get the scanner to do

That's why those old parts books are so amazing to look through. That sounds like a sample of the original vinyl used on the Patrols before '68.
