New 1969 patrol

New members, tell us about yourself and your Patrol. Don't be shy!

Postby darkstaar4 » Sat Jul 30, 2022 8:50 pm

I recently bought my first patrol. 1969. It came with a donor vehicle that has a lot of the original parts. The patrol I have that’s working has original engine and transmission so I was told. :)

The doors are from the donor vehicle. Modified to be a little more practical. I still have the original doors. You can see the paint in the door is not exact but close. Car still seems to have its original paint. I have the original wheels also. Last owner put these ones on for convenience. Still haven’t gone through the donor vehicle to see if it’s even salvageable or just the frame is rusted.

It’s taking too long to upload the photos. Here’s a link to the shared album.

Welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomeconfetti: Glad you found your way here. :D

That is a nice looking Patrol, you should get quite a bit of enjoyment out of it. The parts rig isn't too shabby either.

Thanks for the link to the pics. I don't understand why folks have so much grief uploading pictures here.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Welcome!! You will find lots of great information here on this site, and many knowledgeable Patrol owners who are readily willing to help with technical and parts questions.

Your Patrol looks great! (And as River says, the parts Patrol looks pretty good too.)

Thanks guys!!!

I’m glad to be a part of the community. I agree with you guys the parts patrol looks good. I definitely plan on restoring it but it will probably not be as original as the main patrol.

Uploading pictures on the forum requires one upload at a time and you have to wait for it to upload to add the next photo. So for 10 photos it takes a while to do it individually. So I uploaded it to google drive and attached the link.
