American Independence Day...

The things we do that keep us from being with our Patrol.

1, first part of 4
I normally sit on the patio drinking and enjoying BBQ while watching the fireworks that the city puts on. Fireworks cancelled this year, tighter restrictions applied this week. Just another day. Unless they decide to protest something, then there will be the helicopter circling. We're a little better off than San Diego county - they cannot even have people come to their homes to visit.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Yes yes, it is with great sincerity I offer thanks to those who gave and give to ensure our freedom. Even in the worst of times.... our times are better, because of their sacrifice, than 95% of the rock piles outside our beloved borders. Salute!

Patrolling because someone else made it possible,
